Hey, Joe. Do us a favor. DON'T "go along." We need to jettison you for being the anchor around our neck that you are. That bridge you keep dreaming of was destroyed four years ago. Any chance of rebuilding it was killed when Bush declared his "mandate."

So if you're just going to "go along" with this, we say just get the hell out of our way instead. Speedbumps like you are the last damned thing we need right now.

Did I hear someone say Paul Newman a few weeks back? He gets on Imus and pretends to be normal just like a lot of these guys do. I think that sounding normal on Imus gains you entry into hearts and minds of the mouth breathers and knuckle draggers. This goes for Kerry, McCain, Biden, Richards, even Howard got a favorable visit. Actually, respect from the crew at Imus does seem to have a value.

I am not sure for which constituency you work for, or exactly which constituents you really represent. As a Democrat, you have sold your soul to the Republican agenda. You might as well switch and name yourself a GOP. We won’t accept your misrepresentation of the REAL democrats in the Senate.

We Democrats believe that we
- should be told by the truth by the government
- that the government should work for the MAJORITY of the population and not just the super-rich
- that lies that have led people to die in wars that were unnecessary should be stopped
- that TORTURE is not acceptable, even in illegal wars
- that our tax money should be used for education, social security, community building, and the environment
- that the elected REPRESENTATIVES should work FOR THE VALUES of the people that elected them!!

Your spineless representation of the democratic values, in statements such as “At times like these, it is important that the world not only knows that this secretary of state has the ear of the president, but has, if you will allow me to put it this way, America's heart,”, makes us all vomit!!!!!!!!!!!! It is such spineless representation that is driving MY country into an uncontrollable sellout to the corporate power. The environment, the deficit, the lies, the ethics of the GOP, you name it.

Hard cash is being stolen out of Iraq, and the middle income and lower income taxpayers are not only stuck with the bill of financing an illegal war for generations to come, but nobody questions who has taken the cash out, or where the oil money is going. It is a simple plan by the administration. Take the hard cash out and reward your friends, and foot the bill to the taxpayers who don’t know how they are going to afford health insurance or hold on to their next job!
