What Rush Says / What His Dittoheads Do
What Rush said on his show today...
"Liberals claim that they're colorblind, affirmative action and all this stuff, but they see somebody is a woman? They see it. Somebody is gay? They see it. They're the first to see it. Somebody black? They see it. They're the first ones to see it and the first ones to point it out."
What his pals in the Jeff Gannon News Network wrote today...
GOP-Bashing Groups Seek New Trailblazers
(CNSNews.com) - With the Democratic National Committee having installed a new chairman, Howard Dean, several Republican-bashing activist groups are still searching for their own fresh visionaries. The organizations, representing liberal blacks, pro-abortion feminists and homosexual activists, were jolted by the departures of leaders following President Bush's re-election on Nov. 2.
Wow. Three for three. That's embarrassin'...

Great catch--well done!

And, when someone's a bombastic ninny, they see that. Or hear it...

I am a liberal and must admit I did notice immediately that Rush is a hypocrite. This is not good. I am making rash judgements about conservative talk show hosts who are drug and sex addicts like Rush, or enjoy phone "falafels" like Bill.
Please forgive me.

Good morning. What is your point in this post featuring quotes from the talon news service and the great one, rush limbaugh?
Rush saved my life by admitting his addiction and thereby making my admission a lot easier.
Limbaugh is my hero so a different reason than some have.

It's only 2/3, maybe 1.5/3. Pro-abortion feminists does not specify women. Actually I think you might be a pro-abortion feminist.
Also, "homosexual activists" are often straight, sort of.

John --
Rush, the drug addict, never admitted anything; he got 'caught' with over 40,000 hits of Oxycoton.
There are hundreds of citizens serving jail time for 5 hits of Oxycoton.
Rush is a hyprocrit, not to mention a criminal. As for me, no thanks, I'll get my news from an academic who has no need to stay in a narcotic stupor to perform (perhaps when all you do is lie, being in a stupor helps).

Chandler,
You are a dummy that should probably stay On whatever it is you were on because claiming that Limbaugh helped you is a sign of a disturbed mind. It appears that you need all the toxins you can get because of that harsh thing called reality!
Oh Rush, save me for I know not what I do...
Posted by: JT | Feb 15, 2005 at 10:31 AM
John,
It took Rush getting busted for you to admit you had a problem?
I can only imagine what will happen when Gannon reveals that he, Rush, Grover and Karl get together on Fiday nights for porno, poppers and popcorn jackoff parties...
Dittohead is only an expression not a way of living your life for Gods sake...

this country is turning into Nazi Germany

To Isaac
you mean "This country IS "Nazi, Germany"

the problems with ameriKans is that they don't know the value of a 22 cent piece of "cleansing" lead (as in hollow)
Posted by: ctmac | Feb 15, 2005 at 01:15 PM
Great catch! Thank you for helping to expose the Nazi mouthpieces like Rush.
If there is a xtian god he will surely burn in hell.

I make no apologies for being a conservative. C'mon you guys! You sound insane when you start comparisons of Rush or Bush to Hitler and all that stuff. (Not to mention a little childish!) If you believe in Civil Liberties and Freedom of Speech then you believe in it not for just yourself, but for others too. Or, is it the sound of your own voices that you want to hear? You know, I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight like hell to defend your right and privilege to say it.

Carol - you're in a conservative minority. Most of the Bush gluesniffers and KoolAid drinkers will fight like hell to shut us up. Period. Maybe it's not Hitleresque, but the buying of the media, the suppression of dissent at Bush's public appearances and the lying, lying, lying certainly smacks of our old pal Communism.

Carol, I'm sorry if it sounds insane to you when others of us make comparisons between Bush et al and Hitler. Unfortunately, here is a specific example of a one such comparison:
On August 31, 1939, at Hitler's direction, German special forces staged an attack against a German radio station in Gleiwitz, Germany (nowadays Gliwice), a German border town near the Polish border. Together with other Polish-German border incidents, and propaganda lies (e.g., house torching in the Danzig Corridor by Poles) it was a part of the preparations to the operation called "Fall Weiss", Nazi Germany's military action to neutralize and conquer Poland. The whole set of border incidents was dubbed 'Operation Himmler'.
The Gleiwitz incident was directed by Alfred Helmut Naujocks, under orders from Reinhard Heydrich and accompanied by Heinrich Müller, the chief of Gestapo (according to the sworn affidavit of Naujocks at the Nuremberg Trials). According to Naujocks, a small group seized the Gleiwitz radio station and a message was broadcast urging Poles to strike against Germans. German concentration camp prisoners dressed in Polish uniforms and carrying Polish weapons were used to stage the attack. They were given lethal injections and firearm wounds and placed in attacking positions as a 'proof' to the invited press and police officials. These prisoners were referred to by the code phrase "Canned Goods". Therefore, the incident is sometimes referred to as "Operation 'Canned Goods'".
The next day in the Reichstag, Hitler announced that there were 21 border incidents in total, including three very serious ones, and used this as a pretext to the launching of a "defensive" attack earlier that morning against Poland, thus starting the Second World War.
To me, the staged attack on Gleiwitz and the subsequent use of it as justification for the German invasion of Poland, a country that had never attacked Germany, is very similar to the way that the Bush Administration used numerous lies and falsehoods about Iraq's Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) capabilities as a pretext for the 2003 invasion of Iraq, a nation of no threat to the United States.
As far as I can tell, the Bush Administration simply presented Americans with their own variation of Gleiwitz, lying to us just as Hitler lied to the German people in order to get the citizens to support an immoral and unjustified military action. In both cases, the leaders of Germany and the US got just wanted, public and legislative support for their wars of aggression.
I do appreciate anyone, conservative or otherwise, who is a defender of our right to dissent. Thank you for your point of view.

Carol, If you will "fight like hell" to defend our right to say it, what exactly does that mean? Do you call your Rep or write a letter when the bush people throw those with anti-bush shirts out of public forums? If your neighbor was thrown in Gitmo, no counsel & no rights, would you speak for him? You know the answer. As far as these "crazy" comparisons to Hitler; let me show you crazy:
-gay hooker has access to Prez; Plame top secret document.
-bush admin denying 1 billion judgement against IRAQ for AMERICAN POW's tortured in 1st Gulf War.
-parents of soldiers holding bake sales to raise money for body armor (200 billion not enough)
-bush long time family friend & lawyer James Baker representing SAUDI'S in lawsuit filed by 9/11 families.
-"Conservative" President has biggest budget, biggest government & biggest deficit in history.
-UBL "no longer matters".
Yeah, were the crazy ones for comparing this gang to Nazi Germany.

Carol (and others)--check out David Niewert's long essay on the evolving American Fascism (Orcium blog). It may sound crazy, these comparisons, but it's not. Sadly. And whatever you do, keep your feet in this storm. The country needs conservatives like you and they are in short supply.
