Pamela Anderson Roast?
When Comedy Central started plugging this last month, we groaned. Since they parted with the Friars' Club, their roasts have been horrendous - Denis Leary's and Jeff Foxworthy's were the worst pieces of garbage set to cameras.
But today, we found out that the roasters will NOT be the former cast of Tough Crowd. In fact, the lineup looks damned good. But best of all, we see that Jeffrey Ross, the guy who made "I wouldn't f--- her with Bea Arthur's d--k" famous, is on the dais. Ross is one of the funniest sonsabitches we've ever seen, and yes, he's a Friar. He's responsible for bringing the Friars' Club roasts to Comedy Central to begin with (Hefner, Rob Reiner, Jerry Stiller and Drew Carey were his).
For that alone, we cautiously say set the TiVo for this one. Sunday Night, 10pm ET.
This is coming out on DVD on Valentine's Day. I thought it was a riot. Do you think my gf would be offended if I asked her to get it for me?
