So Brownie put everone on call DID HE BOTHER TO CALL THEM AFTER IT HIT!Or was he more interested in going on tv and shopping for socks.The lot of them should be locked in a FEMA shelter untel the Gulf Coast is rebuilt!

Is it just me, or was everyone in "cover bush's ass" mode after it was clear that everything warned about in that video came true? I mean, I don't recall Brownie, Chertoff(sp?) or anyone saying: "Hey! I was at part of a video conference and we all heard the warnings! Bush totally lied on that morning show!" Brownie himself didn't even mention (at least that I can recall) that he was vocal about the impending doom at this meeting which the president listened in on.
Apologize to him all you want, I'm still mad about what seems to be a massive "cover up bush's mistakes" plan.

I feel like I'm in Alice's wonderland.... the NYTimes (2/2/06) has this stuff on page A16 and the article is so bland and non informative, bearing no resemblance to any critique I've read or heard since yesterday.
