Clinton and Obama Will Vote "No" On FISA Cloture
Unity in the community. Good move by both. Watch C-SPAN tomorrow afternoon, and call or write your reps NOW, if they call themselves Democrats. McJoan:
The Senators we need to convince of this are those who voted with the Republicans to table the Leahy substitute amendment, the version of the bill that contained all of those protections, and didn't allow telco amnesty. One of them, Rockefeller, has already said he'll vote no on cloture. Call the rest of the Senators and tell them to stand with their majority on Monday's cloture vote and vote no.

This would be crazy sweet to blow this thing out of the water just before Bush pulls out the pompoms.

They took the easy coward's way out and was not present for the vote count.
The American people just can't seem to win at least one f**king time nowadays.

What a discusting swill of sewer garbage we have
leading America today.
Americans can't even trust the sources we used to call solid and dependable. Our politicians lie to them just like they lie to us!
Corporate America and the Bush criminals will never pay for their criminal acts against our nation.
How in hell are we going to rid ourselves of these traitorous, back stabbing rats we call Congress? There's got to be a way. I knew Hillary would coward out but I was shocked Obama didn't show up and use his considerable influence.
Hillary's and Obama's vote plus one defection would have done the job. Just one lousy vote!
