Buh Bye!

MSNBC finally took Tucker out back and put him out of his misery.

Insiders tell TVNewser Tucker Carlson's 6pmET show Tucker is getting the axe, but Carlson stays on as a political contributor to all MSNBC shows at least through the 2008 election. The official announcement, expected tomorrow, will include details about who will replace Tucker at 6pmET as well as other political programming additions. Sources say the network is going to beef up its schedule with more NBC News talent.

The show has been a ratings boat anchor for months. So it wasn't the bow tie. It was HIM. What a stinkin' surprise.

Would that "NBC News talent" include David Schuster? After the "pimping" debacle, maybe the odds are lower - but we'll see.

No it wasn't the bow tie. He gave that up months ago. Undoubtedly due to the pressure of the blogs. My favorite expression when I see him on air is Tucker, Tucker mother------. I personally think someone should give him a job at Faux news. He would fit right in. Let's see... I don't really watch Faux, but I would think if you stuck Tucker between any two of their other shows it would make a great balony sandwich.

I thought he was fired a long time ago.

What excellent news. They should let him rip immediately, and he can go get that "game show" he's always dreamed about. While they are at it, MSNBC needs to dump Joe Scarborough. What a hump! Between Tucker and Scarborough, neither of them needs guests. They ask the question, answer the question, and both are their own biggest fan! I want to see David Shuster get one of those slots. Lastly, those two humps are the crankiest, most unpleasant, disagreeable pundits on TV.

I'd like to chip in a little bit to get Maddow an inoculation against "David Gregory Disease". no doubt about it, her voice is fresh now and her point of view is often a tonic. any who doubt this need only listen to a couple episodes of her Air America Show. still, she's been part of the "MSNBC Gang" for a while now. I hope she can manage to survive without getting all her edges smoothed off.

will they continure to make her wear lipstick and pantsuits?

just keep flushing the tiolet, and send sll these turd blossoms back to the cesspool.
