Bush Gets Kneecapped by His Saudi Pals
You want oil, little man? Borrow some more money and pay up. And another Bush myth of controlling Saudi oil evaporates into fart gas.
With the price of oil hitting record highs, President Bush used a private visit to King Abdullah’s ranch here Friday to make a second attempt to persuade the Saudi government to increase oil production. And while Saudis appeared to rebuff the request, the Saudi oil minister, Ali al-Naimi, announced that the kingdom had increased output by 300,000 barrels a day, starting May 10.
“We supplied to the tune of an additional 300,000 barrels per day, from 1.4 to 1.7 million barrels per day, for our customers in the U.S., so how much more can we do,” he said.
The Saudis have previously rejected American requests to increase production, and Mr. Naimi insisted that the increase was in response to demands from some 50 “customers” worldwide. He did not specify further. “Our response is positive,” he said at a news conference. “If you want more oil you need to buy it.”
Great trip, Mr. Bush! Just splendid! What's next? A visit to Scotland to take a dump on Alex Fergussen's desk?

Why would he want to take a dump on Alex F's desk?

To accomplish a dynamic sense of futility while pissing off more people.

What a descusting piece of human excrement. How in hell did 54 million people vote for this divisive , war mongering anti human?

I can't begin to guess how 54 million voted for W in 2004. Held their nose and punched at the buttons on the new and confusing voting machines I suspect. It didn't hurt that the "default" mode of the Diebold machines was Republican.
But I know it was the same 54 million that believe the Sun revolves around a flat earth that was constructed in 6 days by some "Intelligent Designer" about 6000 years ago. And that their ancestors played with pet dinosaurs.
And who, judging by the email and blog comments I see, obviously didn't pay much attention to their English teachers either!
