Getting a Nosebleed on That High Horse Yet, Brian?

Earlier this week, on his Daily Nightly blog, NBC's Brian Williams acknowledged a goof by producers who used file video of penguins to illustrate a report on the North Pole. There are no penguins in the northern hemisphere (except in zoos). "It was the visual equivalent of a kangaroo bouncing through Central Park," he admitted.

Williams also used his blog to trash the New York Times for covering petty and completely meaningless tabloid stories. Yet, the following night, Williams's "Tonightly News" aired a 2+ minute report on the latest “controversy” surrounding teen superstar Miley Cyrus and the pictures Annie Leibovitz took of her for Vanity Fair.
