Shut Up, Pat
Pat Buchanan has been on MSNBC all day yesterday and today telling us the only thing that can save Hillary Clinton is a dramatic win in Kentucky this Tuesday.
Folks, Clinton's gonna win Kentucky. BIG time. This has been known for several months now. The polls have had her up by margins of up to 35% as recently as last week.
Kentucky is loaded with Hillbillaries (a term I stole from a caller to Ed Schultz yesterday). She's gonna win Kentucky. There will be no surprise. It's going to happen.
But believe me when I tell you that Pat's going to be on the panel Tuesday night, shrieking "Why can't he close the deal?" You've been warned.

The rethuglicans want to run against Hillary, and will keep brainwashing the entire country to make it happen! When Obama is speaking, the crowds are so huge, and so diversified. The people are absolutely electrified! It's Camelot all over again! I hope with all my heart, that this is going to happen!

There's something pathetic at work with Buchanan's constant appearance on talk show panels in which he, in a very bellicose way, continues to push for Hillary's candidacy. He claims to be for Hillary because of her status as an underdog (and, as you know, he always pulls for the underdog), but a year ago he was in total agreement with the conventional wisdom that her nomination was a fait accompli. He admits he would never vote for her or Obama. There can only be one reason why he continues to push for her candidacy. He and his ilk relish the thought of going up against her in November.

Pat is doing his job - poisoning the rhetorical water supply with CRAP until it becomes "conventional wisdom"
The best thing about Pat nowadays is seeing him in tandem with Rachel Maddow.
If Rachel Maddow and Pat Buchanan remade "the odd couple", who would be Felix and who would be Oscar?
