Ted Kennedy Has "Stroke-Like Symptoms"
The firebrand of the Democratic party has been hospitalized.
(CNN) -- Sen. Edward Kennedy was rushed to a hospital in Massachusetts Saturday morning, a well-informed, prominent Democratic source in that state told CNN.

Kennedy was transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston after spending less than an hour in the Cape Cod Hospital emergency room, a spokesman for the Cape Cod facility told CNN.
David Reilly said Kennedy was admitted to the Cape Cod emergency room around 9 a.m. ET. Massachusetts General said it had no information on Kennedy.
The source said the 76-year-old senator had "symptoms of a stroke" at the Kennedy family compound in Hyannis Port.
Kennedy had surgery in October to clear his carotid artery in hopes of preventing a stroke. Colleagues said he had recovered quickly and was working energetically recently.
UPDATE: Better than originally thought, thank goodness.
Senator Edward M. Kennedy was hospitalized today after suffering a seizure, triggering shock in the political world and drawing an outpouring of support from across the nation and the ideological spectrum.
The 76-year-old Democrat, a tireless advocate for liberal causes and the surviving patriarch of the storied Kennedy political dynasty, was talkative and joking with family members this afternoon, friends and associates said. His condition was considered serious, they said, but his life did not appear to be in imminent danger.
‘‘Senator Kennedy was admitted to Massachusetts General today after experiencing a seizure at his home,’’ Kennedy’s personal physician, Dr. Larry Ronan, said in a statement released tonight. ‘‘Preliminary tests have determined that he has not suffered a stroke and is not in any immediate danger. He’s resting comfortably and watching the Red Sox game with his family.

A new book just out by Mike Taibi, "The Great Derangement", suggests rather strongly that most of the very general US public are nuts - pushed over the edge. Primary reason: lies are packaged and delivered so smoothly and defy reality so openly that un-grounding occurs. The result is a populace who have been abandoned by media (they are spreading the lies) and who latch on to any wild theory that comes along which might explain things.
I must have the illness.
The first thought on hearing of the Senator's illness: the CIA. The second: a connection with the just-announced California gay marriage law. The third: a government soon to be turned over to the Democrats.
Strokes ("stroke-like symptoms") were a specialty of the KGB and CIA. Hard to trace to the source, apparently.
Of course, this is nonsense. Kennedy is old, overdoing it, and just got sick.
Right?
